Tina and I were born in South Africa and grew up nearby the Traskei border, also known as the Wild Coast. Growing up in such a beautiful, inspiring environment, it was not long before we started documenting our explorations into the wilderness. Some time later, our work was noticed in a national competition where we were fortunate enough to win the Man in Nature category. After winning the competition, we had a few photography articles feature in PIX – a South African photography magazine.
After writing and photographing for PIX for two more years, we moved to London to concentrate on our photography careers. These days, we base ourselves in London, traveling every 6 weeks to explore and photograph the world.
Years after our initial forays into the South African Wild Coast, we are still as fascinated and curious about the world as ever. Our photography style is a celebration of the diversity and beauty found throughout the world. We are merely observers of an artist much greater than ourselves.
